Before Editing

I have edited the exposure in this photo by increasing it i also flipped it vertically

To edit this photo i increased the levels of poisterization to create a colourful blurred image

This photo was the less edited one out of all i only increased the exposure of the light onto the photo to dampen the colour.

Question 7: Evaluation- looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the full product?

I have learned a lot since my preliminary task especially how to use InDesign more creative such as removing the outline of the boxes and changing the colours of the back ground and changing the view mode from normal to preview.

I have also learned how to focus my magazine more solely on my target audience by using the appropriate photos and models in the most effective clothing to fit my genre of music which is rap.

Using InDesign I have been able to learn how to arrange and overlap photos and text to create a more beautiful and flowing magazine cover.

I wished that I was able to learn how to InDesign more such as how to crop photos or how to properly  edit the spaces and points between the letters and words so that they're clearer and sharper.

Question 6: Evaluation- What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Finished question 6 for the evaluation for my rap music magazine using PowerPoint

Question 5: Evaluation- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

answered question 5 for my rap music magazine Evaluation

Question 4: Evaluation- what have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I used many different types of software to help produce and plan my rap music magazine.

To plan my music magazine layout i used Adobe InDesign to create a flat plan which helped me design my layout of the magazine's pages such as cover, contents and double spread page interview, this included making the right sized item boxes and positioning them correctly. Using InDesign i was also able to use it to create a finished product of my music magazine whilst using InDesign  i learned many skills to create the perfect design on my magazine such as adding colour to font and pages also changing the weight and indentation of letter to create a drop cap or adding circles.

I also learned how to do new things on Microsoft Word Document such as creating the mix tape on the bottom of my contents page which i made from scratch using different sized shapes and colour fills, using Word i also made my own Barcode which is on the bottom left of my cover page which taught me how to add different weighted lines and group them together, i then had to export them over to my finished product back over on InDesign.

I then used Adobe PhotoShop to edit the photos seen on the double spread page interview to do this i had to learn how to edit the exposure and levels on photos also to increase and decrease the levels of posterization.

To take the pictures of the model that is in my magazine i had to use a DSLR camera which required my skills to adjust the zoom, focus, light and dark exposures and the orientation of the camera to take the perfect shot that would fit perfectly into the layout of my magazine.
